Great variety at Castletown Pastoral Centre

At the end of January the team at Castletown Pastoral Centre relocated back to the Pastoral Centre and since then, we have welcomed TY and Confirmation groups from Carlow, Offaly, Limerick, Laois, Kildare and Tipperary.

In addition to the school retreats, the Centre also hosted the WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS) conference.  WWGS is Ireland's national Global Citizenship Education programme for post-primary settings. The Pastoral Team was on site to help out at break times and it gave us an opportunity to meet and interact with the many teachers who attended the conference and to let them know about the work and mission of the Pastoral Centre.

After a welcome mid-term break, we are preparing to continue our retreat programmes with schools, old and new.  During this season of Spring we hope that the seeds that we plant in the hearts and minds of the young people will bear fruit in their lives.
