Exploring ways to integrate games into classrooms

Three members of De La Salle College Senior School educators Ms. Natalia Bugeja, Ms. Beatrice Micallef, and Dr. Marie Josette Parnis, embarked on an ERASMUS+ course in Budapest, where they learnt more about game-based learning and gamification.

Their mission was simple yet profound: to delve deeper into the world of game-based learning and explore innovative ways to integrate games into our classrooms.

Throughout the project, they absorbed invaluable insights, expanded their knowledge, and gained a plethora of ideas on using games to enhance student learning.

From interactive games to immersive educational experiences, the possibilities are endless.

The course was not only interesting but also remarkably easy to grasp, making it seamlessly integrable into our daily teaching routines. All three educators can't wait to incorporate these exciting new methods into their lessons and witness the positive impact on our students' learning journeys.

Their commitment doesn't stop here. They are determined to share their newfound knowledge with our fellow educators next Thursday during the COPE session and, spark inspiration, and contribute to the evolution of teaching practices.

Together, let's make learning an adventure for every student.
