Enjoying Culture Week at St Benildus College

Culture week took place in St Benildus College from November 14th to the 18th.

There were various events running at lunch time which kicked off on Monday with the 1st years learning some basic Japanese., while on Tuesday the TYs participated in a mini World Cup football tournament. There was a poster competition running for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and senior students with a prize for the winner in each category.

On Thursday we had our TY Think Languages event. This was a chance for the students to experience different cultures and languages from around the world. The day started off with a language movie in either Spanish, French or German. While for the rest of the day each class got to learn about Chinese Art, Danish, Design and Italian and Cuisine.

Students got the opportunity to try a Brazilian martial art called Capoeira. As well as learning some Bulgarian from Suzie. Well done to the students for their active participation in all activities
