DLS Academy write prayers for Ukraine

At De La Salle Liverpool, we have been writing prayers for peace in the Ukraine and we were very proud to hand them over to Fr Taras Khomych, the parish priest for the Ukrainian community in Liverpool.

He was very touched by our thoughts and prayers and shared them with his parishioners at their weekend Mass.

Each form class in school has joined their thinking to create these prayers and we have shared them throughout our own community too.

We are also raising money through cake sales and collecting items for care packages to send over to Ukraine.

We are very proud of all our students asking God to bestow peace.
