District is well represented at CIL Programme

The La Salle District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta is very well represented at the CIL (Lasallian International Formation Centre) 2024 Programme which is currently taking place in Rome. Delegates, Br Thomas Walsh, Pat Walsh and Claudia Vella, are in attendance for the three-week programme while, Director of Mission, Joe Gilson, is one of the presenters.

Heather Ruple, Co-ordinator of Lasallian Vocations for the District and Chair of the Commission on Association for the Institute, joined the programme during its third week to explore current thinking around Association and the key role formation plays in fostering Association, Belonging and Vocation.

Over the course of three weeks (January 11th to 30th), the CIL (Lasallian International Formation Centre) 2024 Programme welcomed participants from around the world to the Lasallian Headquarters in Rome to immerse themselves in the Institute's latest thinking and resources regarding Lasallian Formation for Mission.

The framework and content of the CIL 2024 Programme is based on the Pilgrim's Handbook: Lasallian Formation for Mission.  This publication is the culmination of growing efforts, across the Institute,  to develop a common framework of formation for all Lasallians, both partners and Brothers.

The Programme will develop through engaging workshops and lectures, insightful discussions, and the participants’ shared dedication to the Lasallian Mission.  CIL 2024 will certainly offer an enriching and transformative experience to all participants.
