De La Salle Senior School embrace many experiences

Students at De La Salle College Senior School in Malta promoted the Lasallian Ethos through a number of activities over recent weeks, including the Prince’s Trust, cooking, painting and volunteering.

Students following the Prince's Trust Programme took part in an activity called "Esploraturi tal-Ambjent" organised by Agenzija Zghazagh in Had Dingli. Students participated in teambuilding activities as well as a clean-up activity along the trail which led us to a nice spot known as Gebel Ciantar. Students were also given the opportunity to cook some noodles in the open air.

As part of our Founder’s Day celebrations, Form 3 students needed to be inventive and improvise with materials at hand to recreate the painting of St John Baptist De La Salle in the classroom.

As part of Founder's Day celebrations, Form 3 students teamed up by house colour for a tug of war battle.

"Sometimes we cast the elderly aside, but they are our precious treasure: to cast them aside is an injustice and irreparable loss." Pope Francis

Following St John Baptist de La Salle's footsteps, whilst being aware of what being a Lasallian is all about; 6 Form 4 students dedicated some of their free time during the Easter holidays and together with Fr Jean Claude Schembri, did Voluntary work among the elderly in the village of Siggiewi.
