Christmas Card invitation highlights talent and creativity in our District

The invitation to design this year has once again illustrated the abundance of talent and creativity that exists within our District.

The District Young Lasallian Council (DYLC), and the wider District Mission teams, were delighted to receive 233 entries this year for the Christmas Card designs. We were incredibly impressed by students responding to the brief of One La Salle and Christmas and enjoyed seeing how this was interpreted across the District. A selection of entries will be shared on our social media channels as we journey through Advent.

I am pleased to announce that three designs were selected for the District’s 2022 Christmas Card.

  • Luke from De La Salle College, Jersey for capturing the beautiful Nativity scene so well

  • Sherwen from De La Salle College, Waterford for his remarkable study of the peaceful moment between Mary and the newborn Jesus

  • Caden from Stella Maris College, who superbly integrated the symbolism and essence of One La Salle with imagery which encapsulated Christmas.

Wonderful designs, well done and we are proud to share them on our Christmas card this year.

On behalf of the District Young Lasallian Council and Mission team, we would like to extend our gratitude to the educators and schools who promoted this opportunity for students to express their creativity. Your time and enthusiasm to take on an initiative like this is very much appreciated.

As we head towards the end of term and Christmas, may your Advent season be full of hope and peace and your Christmas one of joy and rest.
