Celebrating Founder’s Day at Stella Maris

This year’s Founder’s Day at Stella Maris College, Gżira, Malta, was quite different from the ones celebrated during the past years. However, the pandemic did not stop us from planning various activities for the Junior school students at Stella Maris College.

The day started with the raising of the College Flag accompanied with colourful fireworks. Grade 6 students participated in an activity where they formed part of the school badge, keeping all Covid 19 Safety Measures in place.

Mass was then celebrated and viewed through Teams.

All educators and students were later engaged in different hands-on activities. We decorated a cap keeping the Founder at the centre of the students’ creativity. Then we had a cooking activity per class, we played a Lasallian Bingo with De La Salle College in Birgu and last but not least, we watched a beautiful video showing all the students’ contributions for the Lasallian Awards.

An art mural was also created using the students’ portrait as a background to form the school badge.

A day to remember ! Memories to treasure!
