Beneavin’s inclusive community is honoured

On Friday 14th March, staff from Beneavin De La Salle College accepted the BelongTo Quality Mark on behalf of the entire school community.

This award is an important acknowledgment of their commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students where relationships are at the heart of all they do. Beneavin De La Salle College recognises the diversity of its students and are committed to ensuring every member of the school community feels safe, valued, supported and that they can be themselves.  This is done, not just through policies, but in all aspects of school life.

The BelongTo Quality Mark recognises the school's dedication to creating a safe space where every student feels like they belong and that they are seen and heard. Students' wellbeing and mental health is to the fore in Beneavin and the Lasallian Core Values are central to school life.  They strive that all students and their families feel supported. 

Everyone is extremely proud of being recognised for all the hard work over the entire process and they will continue to foster an environment of acceptance, respect and support. Congratulations to the team who led this initiative, to the staff who supported it as well as the entire school community for making this possible.
